For our Power washing and soft washing services, our main cleaning product is a proprietary solution of a degreaser, an algaecide and a surfactant significantly diluted with water. The active ingredient is sodium hypochlorite (Pool Chlorine). This product is used in swimming pools and water treatment plants. It will not harm your plants and it rapidly breaks down in to salt, oxygen & water after use.

Power washing
Power washing is a high-pressure mechanical cleaning method used to remove loose paint, gum, mold, mud and dirt from exterior surfaces such as brick & mortar, natural stone, flag stone, concrete/brick pavers and poured concrete surfaces. |
Soft washing
Soft washing is a cleaning method using low pressure and specialized solutions to safely remove mold, mildew, bacteria, algae and other organic stains from roofs, vinyl/aluminum siding and exterior wood features such as decks and fences. |
Our Power washing process

IIn most cases we use a pressure washer with adjustable pressure and a high Gallon per minute out-put to perform both pressure washing and soft washing. In some cases however, we might choose to use an electric pump instead of a pressure washer. When it comes to power washing we have a proprietary 5 step cleaning process!
1-Area prep We will take all necessary precautions to protect the surrounding area before we start power washing / Soft washing. We will bag downspouts, cover AC vents, pre-soak/cover vegetation etc...
2-Pre-treatment We will pre-treat surfaces with appropriate treatments to kill all organic staining such as mold and mildew, as well as apply appropriate solutions to remove old stain/paint, oil, rust etc...
3-Agitation Most surfaces we power wash do not require mechanical agitation. However, in some cases we will use variying agitation methods to release adhered dirt, old pealing paint or stain and in some cases even mold/mildew.
4-Rinse After applying our solutions, agitating and making sure all organic and non organic stains are removed, we will soft wash the surfaces to make sure all the loosened dirt is washed and our solutions are neutralized.
5-Post-treatment In some cases, such as the pressure washing of horizontal surfaces; we will apply a post treatment that will enhance the cleaning and offer residual protection.
After the cleaning is complete we offer our customers in Alexandria, Arlington and Fairfax county various sealing, staining and painting services to protect the freshly cleaned surfaces and ensure a long lasting result. We can seal coat asphalt, seal concrete driveways, patios and walkways with clear or gloss finishes, we can re-sand and seal concrete or brick pavers. We can seal or stain your exterior wood features and we also offer interior and exterior painting services. We are currently awaiting a Virginia contractors license with a wall coverings specialization from DPOR.
